Last Saturday, I had the absolute pleasure of photographing Doreen and Kirk's gorgeous wedding at Chrysalis Vineyards. What a beautiful event! When I first met with Doreen and Kirk (many months ago!) I liked them immediately. They're both incredibly laid back and easy to talk to. And when they described their wedding to me at that first meeting, I knew it was going to be incredible!
Doreen and Kirk met at work and have literally traveled the globe together on business. On one particular trip to Italy, their romance began, and they've been together ever since! They decided to use the travel theme in their wedding, naming each table after an exotic location that they've been to together and inviting their guests to enjoy three different buffet options from around the globe. I love how it all came together! Here are just a few of my favorites from their day...
Once we arrived at the Vineyard, Doreen and Kirk opted to see one another so we would have plenty of time for portraits. So sweet!
Holly Chapple did such an AMAZING job with all of the wedding day flowers!

The groom's cake was made into the shape of Dulles Airport! It was amazing.

Oh, Chrysalis is SUCH a beautiful venue and you did an incredible job with this wedding, Kristen. I just keep looking at the pictures over and over!
