A little over a year ago, I photographed Mitch and Samantha's wedding, and I was so excited when Sam contacted me about doing "Baby's First Year" sessions with their soon-to-be little girl! Kendall was born earlier this month, and I had so much fun photographing her yesterday. And it was also a treat to see how Mitch and Sam are adjusting to parenthood. They're already pros! Here are just a handful from our session...
If these came in my size, I would buy them immediately!
Kendall looks so thoughtful in this one...
Newborn photos are best taken within the first two weeks of life. After that, it's really hard to get infants to remain asleep throughout the session. Kendall is actually three weeks old, and that last week definitely made a difference! I wasn't sure if we'd be able to get her to sleep, but Mitch had the magic touch...
After Kendall fell asleep, I was able to take the very first photo on this post as well as these last two... I'm so glad we were able to capture these!
Mitch and Samantha: It was so great to see you! Kendall is just gorgeous. I'm really looking forward to our next session!
