kate + ryan | washington, d.c. wedding photographer

Untitled-15
Last Saturday, Kate and Ryan were married at Woodend Sanctuary, and I had such a blast at their wedding! First of all, the venue is just gorgeous. They had their ceremony in a grove of beautiful trees, and their reception took place at the main house. So lovely!

Kate and Ryan actually live in London, so this past year we've had to correspond primarily over email. Luckily, we did meet up at Woodend last Spring during one of their visits home, and I've been looking forward to their wedding day ever since! They're both incredibly kind and down-to-earth, and they were surrounded by an amazing group of family and friends. I had a blast, and it was honestly hard to choose which photos to blog! Here are just a few of my favorites...

Like many of my recent couples, Kate and Ryan decided to take their photos together before the ceremony. I love when couples decide to do this! It gave us plenty of time to capture some really fun shots.
