Babies, babies everywhere! I love taking photos of my family, and after having so much fun photographing Ashley's pregnancy, I couldn't wait to take pictures of Matt and Ashley's new baby girl! Sequoia was born last Wednesday, but because of the swine flu we were forced to wait until her parents brought her home before we were allowed to visit.
I loved meeting little Suki yesterday. She is such a sweet little baby, and she was the perfect newborn model! I couldn't believe how soundly she slept. It was so much fun to see Matt and Ashley in their new role as parents. Matt is actually my younger brother (despite the fact that he is MUCH taller) and it has been incredibly fun to see him become a dad. I love how comfortable he and Ashley already are with their little girl! Here are just a handful from our visit yesterday...

She is such a doll! In the first shot Suki looks so much like Ashley. I'm so excited Maggie has a little girl cousin to shower with love. I love the one with her under the tree. So sweet.
Great job Kristen, I can't pick a favorite..I love them all. Especially with Sequoia on the shelf, her beautiful stocking hat, under the tree, with her parents..and on and on.

Ohmygosh, Kristen, I now am a firm believer that all newborn pictures should be taken on bookshelves and between presents under the Christmas tree! :) LOVE them.
