So, for the first time ever, I posted a giveaway on my Facebook page. I really didn't know what to expect, but the response was awesome! I wanted to be able to plan a fun and laid back "mini" shoot with my intern, Lauren, and I'm so glad that it worked out. Thank you so much to everyone who entered... I may do something like this again in the future!

Are you dying to hear details about the winner?! This beautiful mommy-to-be is also one of my former brides! I photographed Katie and Justin's wedding almost two years ago, and I was so excited to plan this maternity shoot with Katie. She and Justin are having a baby boy! Her cute little pregnant belly is so gorgeous, and even more beautiful is the mixture of excitement and nervousness that comes at this point in a pregnancy. I love being able to photograph all of those things. Absolutely. Love it.

On Friday, we met right in Warrenton, and the three of us had so much fun running around Old Town! Here are just a quick handful...

We planned this shoot right as the sun was setting, and we walked all around town trying to find the perfect light before it was gone. Katie was SUCH a trooper. It was SO COLD outside, and she was up for anything. As you can see, it was worth it...

Katie, you are absolutely beautiful. I hope you will treasure these long after Baby Boy Smith arrives... Trust me, he'll be here before you know it! It was so fun to spend the afternoon laughing about pregnancy. I hope these last few weeks are nothing short of amazing. Can't wait to meet your little one!
