Two years ago, Caroline and Chris were married, and I was invited to capture their wedding day. It was one of the most memorable weddings that I've ever shot for a few reasons... First of all, Chris and Caroline are amazing. They're genuine and fun and so easy to photograph. Secondly, theirs was the first wedding that I ever shot at Lake Ritchie, which has since become one of my favorite local venues. And finally... their reception was interrupted by a HUGE rainstorm! So huge, in fact, that the lights went out and dinner had to be stopped. But the celebration continued! That's what I remember most. They figured out a way to play some music, and the smiles, laughing, and dancing went on. They taught me so much about the purpose of a wedding celebration, and I still look back on their reception as one of my favorites.

Fast forward two years, and welcome Baby Ella! Isn't she beautiful? I went and met this sweet family last week when Ella was just two weeks old. She wasn't interested in sleeping; instead, she kept giving me these incredibly wise expressions. I love it. Here are a few of my favorites...
