For the second year in a row, I was thrilled to be named a recommended vendor through Washingtonian's Bride & Groom Magazine as well as a Best of Weddings Pick through The Knot! Thank you to everyone who voted!

I was thrilled to find out recently that I've been selected as one of the photographers in Washingtonian Bride & Groom's "Best of Weddings 2011". And even better, Meredith and Kelly's wedding is being featured in their Winter/Spring issue!

This magazine is so well done. I was honored to be included! Meredith and Kelly had a gorgeous wedding, and it's such a treat to see it in print. Definitely check it out on your own... the real thing looks much more beautiful than my scanned version! :)

Loudoun Magazine Cover!

Last month, my friend (and fabulous floral designer) Holly Chapple asked for some recent images of her work to submit to Loudoun Magazine. This month, Loudoun Magazine is featuring a story on Holly and the amazing beauty and vision that she brings to weddings. I was so happy to pass along some images! And I was THRILLED to find out that the magazine chose my image of Sara for their cover!

Style Me Pretty | feature

I was thrilled when I found out that Style Me Pretty was going to feature Ali and Jesse's wedding today! SMP is my favorite wedding inspiration blog, and to say that I feel honored would be a serious understatement.

This wedding was just perfect... Holly Chapple did such an amazing job with the flowers, and nothing can top the incredible style and beauty that Ali and Jesse brought to their wedding day. The Knot Best of Weddings 2010

Kristen Gardner Photography has been rated by local brides and voted into "The Knot Best of Weddings 2010"! Wow... What an honor. I feel like I should go on maternity leave more often! To all my wedding clients: Thank you so much for voting. It was a joy to photograph so many amazing events last year.

Have you checked out The Knot? Not only are they an amazing resource for brides and grooms, but they also have specific publications for newly married couples (The Nest) and new parents (The Bump). Check 'em out!

I was already in the hospital when Washingtonian Magazine contacted me last November...In fact, I was already in labor! But when one of the editors left a message on my voicemail, I knew I had to return the call. I remember turning to Tim and saying, "Please promise me that you'll call them back tomorrow. Promise me. No matter what." This was said in between contractions. (I'm not even kidding!) I'm sure that Tim thought I was insane to obsess about a phone call while in labor, but he was smart to keep that to himself. What can I say? Labor made me a little crazy. :)

It turns out that Washingtonian Magazine named me as one of the best wedding photographers in VA! (I'm mentioned on their website and in their "Bride & Groom" issue.) I'm incredibly flattered and humbled considering how many amazing photographers work in the area.

Washingtonian Magazine is one of the most popular publications in DC, VA, & MD. If you haven't already, you should definitely check it out! And to all of the fabulous couples who voted... Thank you so much! You guys are awesome.

Culpeper Kids Magazine Cover!

Culpeper Kids chose one of my photos for the cover of their fall issue! This picture was taken last year at the Owsley's Pumpkin Patch (Owsberry Farm) in Culpeper. Annabeth was there for a fun shoot with all of her siblings!
