best of 2009 | portraits

Photographing children is what made me first really fall in love with photography. I've mentioned this on the blog before, but I babysat three sisters while I was in college who became the subject of my final photography portfolio. It brought me so much joy to capture the perfect image of each little girl just being herself! And so, just a few years later, I decided to start my business because I wanted to capture those images for more families. Here are a few of my favorites from the past year (in no particular order).
