Maggie had a hard time going to sleep last night. It was just one of those nights... they come and go. But for whatever reason, she wanted to stay up and play. So I promised her that we could make pancakes as soon as she woke up this morning... as long as she tried to go to sleep.
When I went in to get Maggie this morning, she looked at me and said, "Hi mommy. We cook something now?" Just like that. As soon as I walked in. What can I say? She has a great memory!
I think Maggie was most excited to wear the apron that my mom got her.
This was Maggie's sous chef. He's pretty cute.
The downfall of an impromptu pancake session is that we didn't have any blueberries to mix in. This morning we improvised with candy. (Note: These M&M's are not from Christmas. They are from my brother-in-law's Italian themed birthday party!)
One more of this little guy...
Check back soon for a fun engagement session!
