When I first met Kristyn and Brian, I felt like I had known them for years. We have so many random connections, and at that first meeting, we discussed their wedding like old friends. I can't wait to photograph their special day this November! Last Saturday, we decided to meet in the city for a fun engagement shoot. Our starting point was actually the George Mason memorial, and it was such a sweet little spot! (I had actually never been to this memorial prior to our meeting there, and I kind of feel like I need to go and tour all of the smaller memorials!)
Kristyn and Brian also brought along a wind tunnel that was out IN FULL FORCE! It definitely kept us laughing! Despite the crazy weather, I had such a blast photographing these two while we ran through the city. And if you're wondering how they could possibly be this adorable in front of the camera, it's because they've actually had practice... during our shoot, they laughingly told me that they've modeled for a professional paintball magazine. :) Here are a few of my favorites from our afternoon together...
The last shot of the night was also my favorite. So perfect.
Kristyn and Brian: I had so much fun running around the city with you! (Brian, thanks for lending me your coat!) I can't wait to see you again this fall.

Awesome Kristen! The last shot is my favorite too, but I do love the pretty, pretty backlight in the first few!

Ooo, Kristen - I love how you used the light in these! Especially that first one. So pretty! What a gorgeous couple. (And as a side note, how funny that I just posted an engagement session and mentioned that I had never visited the George Mason Memorial either!)
