ali + jesse | great falls wedding

Two years ago, I had the privilege of capturing Ali's pregnancy when she and Jesse were awaiting the arrival of their sweet baby, Zoe. Ali looked so beautiful, and the love that she and Jesse share was almost tangible. It was such a special shoot for me, and I cannot describe how excited I was when Ali asked me to photograph their wedding!

One of the things that I love most about Ali and Jesse is that their love story is so unique and full of hope. They actually met after Jesse was forced to leave Louisiana in the wake of Hurricane Katrina. (Isn't that incredible?) He moved to Florida and met Ali when she was there visiting family. It was so sweet to hear them both talk about this meeting because (for both of them) the connection was almost immediate.

And so, last Saturday, they became husband and wife. Their wedding was so incredible! Ali is also a photographer (an amazing one, at that!) and her eye for beauty and detail was evident in every decision that was made. It was fun to photograph such an intimate wedding (the guest list consisted of immediate family only) because everyone really had a chance to connect with the bride and groom. It was just perfect.

The reception details were amazing. All of the guests were able to fit at one long table, and I loved the way it came together!
