On Sunday, I had such a wonderful time photographing Courtney and Chris's wedding at the Briar Patch Inn. First of all, Courtney and Chris are just delightful. They're both incredibly sweet and welcoming, and I loved getting the chance to capture their wedding day. But what struck me even more was the way that they both honored their families and cultures with their ceremony and reception.
Courtney's family is Jewish and Chris's family is Chinese. And while they had a Jewish ceremony, Courtney and Chris made sure to include important details that honored Chinese culture. It was so beautiful.
Courtney and Chris decided to see one another before the ceremony, and we were able to capture so many sweet photos of them together!
The huppah was absolutely gorgeous. Chris' mom made it with this lovely red fabric from China.
As their guests enjoyed dinner, we snuck away for just a few more portraits...
love.
one more.
Courtney and Chris: Thank you so much for inviting me to celebrate with you! I had a blast, and I wish you both the best.
