Before heading out on my family vacation, I had one special portrait shoot that I am so happy to share. This little blue-eyed cutie is Baby Claira. Isn't she adorable? Claira's dad has been serving in Iraq for the past six months, so Lacette contacted me about doing this shoot for him. I thought it was such a beautiful idea, and I was honored to capture this special time in Claira's life. I can't imagine my husband being away that long! (Not to mention the worry that I would feel if he was serving overseas.) Lacette is my new hero.
