About two months ago, I took some maternity photos of my dear friend, Nichole. And now I'm so excited to share photos of sweet baby Brittany! I met her for the first time last week (when she was about two-weeks-old), and she's absolutely perfect. During our visit, Brittany was in no mood to sleep. Maybe she could tell how excited I was to meet her. :) Instead of sleeping, she looked around and gave the most thoughtful expressions. I loved it!
There is something extra special and beautiful about seeing one of your oldest friends become a mom. Nichole is so confident... and comfortable... and so very in love with her sweet baby girl. It warmed my heart to see them together. And meeting Brittany was just incredible. She was actually named after someone in Nichole's family that we all miss very, very much. And in all the ways that it was sad to think about the Brittany that we miss, it was also incredibly special to hold the new life that is now such a beautiful part of their family. I have the incredible privilege of capturing Brittany's first year, and let me tell you something... I can't wait.
At the very end of our session, Brittany finally fell asleep...
